Here's The Story . . .

My great grandmother was very spiritual, and she had a large doll collection. Her daughter, my great aunt, took after her mother in many ways from appearance to personality and interests. She, too, collected dolls, and so do I.

This doll was an anniversary/Christmas present to me from my great aunt. The year before, she received a Christmas doll from her son (it's listed, too). When she saw the Yuletide Romance doll while shopping the following year, she thought of me. My second wedding anniversary was approaching, and I was two-months pregnant with my first child. She presented it to me after enchanting it with a strong "marriage and romance prayer ritual" to keep my marriage strong and secure.

Over the years, when my husband and I had some minor problems, I pulled out the doll and things would always resolve within hours. Even if issues were brewing for days prior to that. It has also been a charm for passion and romance in our marriage. And we've always seemed to be especially attentive and considerate around our anniversary when the doll was displayed in our living room. About 12 years ago, everything good and wonderful in our marriage grew to newer heights, and our bond is completely unbreakable. Around the same time, we noticed the doll's energy began to "love enchant" others.

After wishing for love while touching the doll, my sister-in-law, my best friend, and two cousins met wonderful men within one month. The same happened with two other friends, my next door neighbor, another cousin, and my aunt who found fantastic men within six months. All of these meetings led to marriage. When any of them had problems, they reached for the doll and things would resolve quickly. Another thing we've noticed is that the doll seems to "cause" marriage proposals in existing relationships. That seems to have happened 14 times over the years.

I feel badly letting this doll go. But I feel she's served her purpose with me, and it's time for her to move on. And I have so many charmed items. I just can't keep them all.

I’m a natural skeptic, and these romantic events may have been a long series of coincidences. I can't say for certain the doll is a love charm and guarantee it will work for you. I can only tell you our experiences. If she is a love charm, she worked exceptionally well not only for me but for many others, too. If these were all coincidences, that’s probably more remarkable than the love charm possibility. If you're drawn to her, you are probably meant to have her. And if you’re just curious about whether she’ll work for you, the least you could get if you purchase her is a gorgeous limited-edition Barbie in mint condition with an interesting history. The most you could get is a wonderful marriage.

Specifics ~

This is a Hallmark Special Edition (limited) Yuletide Romance Barbie Doll. It's a collector's doll but may be given to a child as well. She’s dressed in Victorian attire, a gorgeous green and gold suede and satin dress with a jeweled bow at the neck and a pouch bag. (Please view pictures closely. There are two loose strings hanging from her pouch bag.) Her accessories include a hair brush, a pair of high-heeled shows, and a stamped, plastic doll stand. She has a pretty brunette up-do with striking green eyes. Size is 12 inches high. Created in 1996, she is in perfect mint condition. She was stored extremely well in a smoke-free house for 26 years, never handled except for set-up, and only displayed one day a year, during my anniversary. (Box is not included.) She's absolutely beautiful. I've seen this doll in mint condition selling on the internet for up to $400. I've seen it in good condition priced at $200. It originally sold for $50.

Shipping ~

Important: We pack every single item appropriately using bubble or pillow wrap, cushioning paper, cardboard, padded envelopes, sturdy boxes, fragile stamps, and any other necessary method to fulfill our responsibility as the shipper. Therefore, we are not responsible for damage caused by the postal service after the item leaves our hands. Any shipping problems should be directed to “claims” at the US Postal Service. The insurance included with shipping is $50 to $100. If you’d like up to $5,000, there will be a $10 fee since the cost depends on the distance and whether we use first class or priority mail for your package. We have a listing for additional insurance. Please add it to your order if you’d like additional coverage.

We only ship to addresses within the USA (including Hawaii and Alaska). If you live outside the US and want to order from us, please secure a US shipping address through a mailing service.

We proudly recycle shipping boxes for environmental and economical benefits. About 30 percent of our orders are shipped through recycled shipping boxes. We only reuse boxes that are in proper condition, and we use all new shipping envelopes and packing material.

Privacy ~

Bloo Moon does not share information with other companies or individuals, and we do not have access to your bank information or card numbers. The information we gather, including your name, postal address, and email address, is strictly confidential and never shared with anyone outside the company. Your inquiries and purchases are not disclosed to other companies or individuals. Communication between the customer and Customer Care is usually to assist with purchases, provide shipping information, and answer general questions about items. Vintage & Antique Items ~

Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .

They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.

Energy cannot be destroyed but can be transferred or transformed. So maybe it’s not such a far-reaching, kooky, or ridiculous idea that intelligent energy could attach to a special object. However, attachment and expression are two different things. Just because a haunted object exists doesn’t necessarily mean it will produce a paranormal result. Perhaps the intelligence behind it needs to be in a comfortable and secure position before reacting. So please allow time for your object to bond to you before you see results of any spiritual manifestations. Bonding could happen immediately, or it could happen in six months or a year. In some cases, it doesn't happen at all for one person but a friend or a family member or even a pet could cause a reaction. If you're magnetically drawn to an item, it's meant for you.
