Here's The Story . . .

Erica was owned by an old lady with the same name. She was a doll collector, a grandmother, and a "white witch". This was the last doll Erica ever bought. Not only were their names the same, but the doll eerily looked like Erica when she was a child. The same facial features, the same beautiful hair style and color, and the same eye color. The resemblance was apparent even in Erica's old age. So many people asked if she had the doll specially made from a childhood picture of Erica.

She bonded very closely with the doll. It was with her always. She carried her from room to room. She took her when she left the house. She would sing to her, read to her, and even carry on conversations with her. She would set a place at the table for the doll. She also performed magic in her company. Spells, healing rituals, tea leaf and tarot readings, and potion creating. She picked herbs and flowers from her garden with Erica right by her side. For several years, this doll brought her joy. Then the old lady passed on.

Erica had two owners after her original owner. Both reported high activity with her. Erica's grandsons also reported activity. They all believed the person, Erica, transferred her spirit into Erica, the doll, because they were so similar and bonded so deeply.

This particular doll is different than the others since she needs love and care. For her to become active, you must spend considerable time with her. Talk to her. Hold her. Stroke her hair. Sing to her, and tell her stories. She'll lift your mood and grant you favors, according to those who know her best.

It's always taken her three to nine months of regular attention for her to become comfortable enough for activity. Her two previous owners and the three grandsons have said the doll will eventually hum along with you, move quite a bit, whisper a story request, and grant wishes if you ask nicely.

I have no way of verifying these stories, but I believe she's charmed. The reason I do is because of the deep relationship with the original owner and the overall feeling I get from her. We've had the doll in our care for quite a while, and her energy seems happy and lively. Extremely pleasant, inviting, and comforting. She has a very strong presence. You can actually feel her in the room. That usually indicates a charmed item.

With that said . . .

From the stories, a lot of attention needs to be given to this doll for there to be activity. As with all our haunted and charmed items, we cannot guarantee activity. But there may be intense activity under the right circumstances. Only buy her if you completely understand both possibilities and if you're a patient person pertaining to those possibilities.

Update December 2022 -

Some people who have recently seen Erica claim her facial expressions slightly change. If you look at the pictures closely, you might notice it yourself.

Specifics ~

She's a bisque porcelain, limited collector's edition (only 3,500 created), vintage Camelot Doll. She's 17 inches long. She has beautiful long raven hair and striking blue eyes. She's ethnic European/Caucasian with a fair complexion. She has the stick part of what use to be a stand connected to her, but the bottom (platform) is gone. You may be able to replace that. I'm not sure since I've never actually done that. I would say she's in excellent condition. Someone else might say very good condition for her age and level of handling. She comes with a certificate of authenticity from QVC and her original box. The box is in pretty good condition. Others might say fair. Certainly not perfect but at least it's there. :)

Shipping ~

Important: We pack every single item appropriately using bubble or pillow wrap, cushioning paper, cardboard, padded envelopes, sturdy boxes, fragile stamps, and any other necessary method to fulfill our responsibility as the shipper. Therefore, we are not responsible for damage caused by the postal service after the item leaves our hands. Any shipping problems should be directed to “claims” at the US Postal Service. The insurance included with shipping is $50 to $100. If you’d like up to $5,000, there will be a $10 fee since the cost depends on the distance and whether we use first class or priority mail for your package. We have a listing for additional insurance. Please add it to your order if you’d like additional coverage.

We only ship to addresses within the USA (including Hawaii and Alaska). If you live outside the US and want to order from us, please secure a US shipping address through a mailing service.

We proudly recycle shipping boxes for environmental and economical benefits. About 30 percent of our orders are shipped through recycled shipping boxes. We only reuse boxes that are in proper condition, and we use all new shipping envelopes and packing material.

Privacy ~

Bloo Moon does not share information with other companies or individuals, and we do not have access to your bank information or card numbers. The information we gather, including your name, postal address, and email address, is strictly confidential and never shared with anyone outside the company. Your inquiries and purchases are not disclosed to other companies or individuals. Communication between the customer and Customer Care is usually to assist with purchases, provide shipping information, and answer general questions about items. We sometimes send coupons, special offers, promotional, or marketing postal mailers and emails to our clients and customers. Vintage & Antique Items ~

Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .

They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.

Energy cannot be destroyed but can be transferred or transformed. So maybe it’s not such a far-reaching, kooky, or ridiculous idea that intelligent energy could attach to a special object. However, attachment and expression are two different things. Just because a haunted object exists doesn’t necessarily mean it will produce a paranormal result. Perhaps the intelligence behind it needs to be in a comfortable and secure position before reacting. So please allow time for your object to bond to you before you see results of any spiritual manifestations. Bonding could happen immediately, or it could happen in six months or a year. In some cases, it doesn't happen at all for one person but a friend or a family member or even a pet could cause a reaction. If you're magnetically drawn to an item, it's meant for you. That doesn't mean it will open up to you immediately. But it does mean, it most likely will.
