If you'd like us to locate a special item that's not listed in our store, we would be happy to search every vintage nook and cranny all over the globe to find it. This listing is for a custom retainer fee for that purpose. It's the only fee we will charge, and we will get you the best possible price on the item we find for you.
There are different price options here, depending on the item and the rarity of it. Please contact us prior to ordering, and we will tell you which retainer amount is appropriate for the item you want.
Terms ~
* This is a service fee. It covers searching for the item, the finder's fee, researching the specific item's history and creation period, and the shipping charge for it to be sent to us. This fee is not applied towards the balance of the item, and it will not reduce the cost.
* The final cost of the item will be what we paid for it plus a fair, standard percentage mark-up.
* Shipping to you is free of charge.
* Once we receive the retainer, we will actively begin searching for the item.
* The contract is for 90 days. If we cannot find the item within 90 days, you will receive a 50% refund on the retainer fee and the contract will be closed. However, if we come across the item within one year after the close of the contract, we will inform you before listing it publicly so you will have the opportunity to purchase it first.
* When we find and research an item that meets your request, we will send you a full description along with pictures and a price. You're not obligated to purchase any item we find for you. Just inform us by email that you don't want the item.
* If we present you with an item you reject, we will continue to search for another. Again, you're under no obligation to purchase anything we find.
* There will be no refund if we present you with one or more items that you reject.
* The 50% cash discount does not apply to custom orders.
* This service can be renewed for the same item.
* We can search for multiple items for you, but a retainer fee has to be paid for each.
