Exploding with Sparkle, Gorgeous, Enchanted Bracelet. White Sapphire. Belonged To Lady Rochelle. Tragic History. Beautiful. Protective.

Here's the story . . .

We received this bracelet from our Western European curator. It belonged to Lady Rochelle, a European noblewoman. She had a tragic life, losing both her parents at a young age and then marrying an abusive man who took advantage of her. Her only joy was her daughter, Lilly. That turned out to be her final downfall.

Rochelle was kind-hearted, generous, and always put others before herself. She was a doting mother. She didn't have nannies. She took care of her daughter herself. And she set no boundaries. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her daughter and nothing she wouldn't give her. When Lilly was a little girl, she and her mother were close and had a wonderful relationship. When Lilly reached her teen years, things changed. Nothing Rochelle did was enough. Instead of appreciating her mother's generosity, Lilly criticized it. At one point, she beat up her mother so viciously that Rochelle was hospitalized for a week. Of course, Rochelle forgave Lilly and tried to create a peaceful relationship once again.

When Rochelle was in her 70s, she had a stroke. She was put in the care of her daughter. By that time, Lilly was married to an equally rotten man. They dismissed Rochelle's private nurse, and they didn't allow the maintenance staff to go to her room. The maid heard Lilly screaming at her mother and threatening to kill her several times. She also heard crashes, thumps, and door slams coming from the room when Lilly was inside.

One spring in the early 1990s, the maid noticed Lilly and her husband were gone from the home. They didn't tell her or the other staff that they were going on a trip so they were confused about their absence. When she went upstairs to check on Rochelle, she made a horrifying discovery. Rochelle was dead. She immediately contacted the authorities. While she was waiting, she saw a the bottom of a book hanging out from under Rochelle's pillow. She pulled it out. She was further shocked to skim the record of abuse recorded in Rochelle's diary. She turned it over to the police.

It turns out, Lilly starved Rochelle to death. Immediately after finding her mother dead, she and her husband left for a vacation. They were attempting to shift the blame to the staff. The diary, however, showed otherwise. Lilly was convicted of her murder.

This bracelet was worn by Rochelle every day. Nobody knows where or when she got it. But she wore it every day for the last 30 years of her life. In her diary, she willed it to Marianne, the maid.

Marianne counted 57 paranormal experiences surrounding this bracelet. According to her, the bracelet is extraordinarily haunted by the most loving, kind, wonderful, beautiful woman she had ever known. It's brought her romantic love, good fortune, wealth, and peace. Marianne has no children or grandchildren to leave this gorgeous piece to, and she's a very old lady herself now. That's why she's selling it. It's difficult for her to let go, but she wants someone else to experience Rochelle's kindness and love.

This piece has been associated with vivid dreams and clear visions of Rochelle. The visions of Rochelle are always when nobody is wearing it. Since the energy is wonderful, I'm not hesitant about selling this to a novice. However, if you scare easily, you may want to store the bracelet somewhere other than your bedroom.

Specifics ~

This is a tennis style bracelet. It's white sapphire and sterling silver. It's exploding with sparkle in several different cuts - marquise, princess, and round. It's absolutely stunning and in very good to excellent condition in my opinion. We can't guarantee the age. We put 1960s based on the fact that the current owner saw Rochelle wearing the bracelet for about 30 years prior to her passing. It has a China stamp on the clasp. It will come to you in a protective plastic bag inside a pretty reusable pouch.

Care ~

Fine jewelry care is recommended. We recommend jewelry removal before showing, washing dishes, swimming, vigorous exercise, manicures, hand and body cream use, and chemical use (such as hair dye, harsh soaps, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, etc.) to avoid exposing the ring to harsh or damaging chemicals or residue that could cause a filmy appearance. Clean with appropriate jewelry cleaner, a soft brush, or soft cloth. Store in a dry area, in a jewelry box, jewelry holder, or jewelry bag. We are not responsible for damage caused by not following proper care instructions.

Shipping ~

Important: We pack every single item appropriately using bubble or pillow wrap, cushioning paper, cardboard, padded envelopes, sturdy boxes, fragile stamps, and any other necessary method to fulfill our responsibility as the shipper. Therefore, we are not responsible for damage caused by the postal service after the item leaves our hands. Any shipping problems should be directed to “claims” at the US Postal Service. The insurance included with shipping is $50 to $100. If you’d like up to $5,000, there will be a $10 fee since the cost depends on the distance and whether we use first class or priority mail for your package. We have a listing for additional insurance. Please add it to your order if you’d like additional coverage.

We only ship to addresses within the USA (including Hawaii and Alaska). If you live outside the US and want to order from us, please secure a US shipping address through a mailing service.

We proudly recycle shipping boxes for environmental and economical benefits. About 30 percent of our orders are shipped through recycled shipping boxes. We only reuse boxes that are in proper condition, and we use all new shipping envelopes and packing material.

Vintage & Antique Items ~

Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .

They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.

Energy cannot be destroyed but can be transferred or transformed. So maybe it’s not such a far-reaching, kooky, or ridiculous idea that intelligent energy could attach to a special object.
