Fairy Enchanted Leaf Pendant

Here's the story (from one of the owners) . . .

This beautiful 24K Gold Embraced Lace-Thin Leaf Pendant was a gift to my great grandmother by an Irish Traveler when she was a teenager. The traveler, who fell in love with my great grandmother "instantly", begged her to marry him and travel the seaside. Her heart belonged to my great grandfather so she refused. In the traveler's heartbreak, he gave her three golden leaves just like the one listed. He said one was for luck; one was for love; and the other was for money. The one for luck is the most powerful because it also covers love and money. They are to be possessed by females only.

I gave the love leaf to my mother, and I gave the money leaf to a very poor old lady in my community. The Luck Leaf, in this listing, will be sold to the right person.

The story my great grandmother received from the traveler regarding the leaf was that a little girl from Galway, Ireland, was very sad because her family was poverty-stricken and she had not even one friend to cheer her up. She sat on a log in the woods crying. A fairy appeared and turned three fall leaves into gold, charming each one with magical powers. The little girl found love and friendship through one leaf; needed money through the other leaf; and good fortune the rest of her life through the last leaf.

Now this story sounds quite fictitious to me - a charming fairytale. (Ireland is known for them.) Yet, I can tell you the gold leaf in this listing was, in fact, given to my great grandmother by an Irish Traveler, and it has brought luck to everyone who has worn it over the last 100 years. It has a strong presence and energy to it. You could feel it simply by touch. It's from Ireland, the most mystical place in the world, and it traveled to America with my great grandmother. It was very personal to her. I've worn it several times since it's been in my possession, and it's brought me protection, justice, and luck!

I'm selling it because I'm not much of a "necklace person" so usually, the pendant is in my jewelry box, unused. I think it should go to someone who will wear it, use it, and cherish it. If you're drawn to it, it should be yours.

Specifics ~

The pendant is not large and clumsy. It's medium-size, very delicate, light-weight, feminine, and dainty. Fine jewelry. Must be handled with care. It will come to you in protective plastic surrounded by a pixie pouch. Chain is not included. The listing is for the pendant only.

Care ~

Fine jewelry care is recommended. We recommend jewelry removal before showing, washing dishes, swimming, vigorous exercise, manicures, hand and body cream use, and chemical use (such as hair dye, harsh soaps, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, etc.) to avoid exposing the ring to harsh or damaging chemicals or residue that could cause a filmy appearance. Clean with appropriate jewelry cleaner, a soft brush, or soft cloth. Store in a dry area, in a jewelry box, jewelry holder, or jewelry bag. We are not responsible for damage caused by not following proper care instructions.

Shipping ~

Important: We pack every single item appropriately using bubble or pillow wrap, cushioning paper, cardboard, padded envelopes, sturdy boxes, fragile stamps, and any other necessary method to fulfill our responsibility as the shipper. Therefore, we are not responsible for damage caused by the postal service after the item leaves our hands. Any shipping problems should be directed to “claims” at the US Postal Service. The insurance included with shipping is $50 to $100. If you’d like up to $5,000, there will be a $10 fee since the cost depends on the distance and whether we use first class or priority mail for your package. We have a listing for additional insurance. Please add it to your order if you’d like additional coverage.

We only ship to addresses within the USA (including Hawaii and Alaska). If you live outside the US and want to order from us, please secure a US shipping address through a mailing service.

We proudly recycle shipping boxes for environmental and economical benefits. About 30 percent of our orders are shipped through recycled shipping boxes. We only reuse boxes that are in proper condition, and we use all new shipping envelopes and packing material.

Privacy ~

Bloo Moon does not share information with other companies or individuals, and we do not have access to your bank information or card numbers. The information we gather, including your name, postal address, and email address, is strictly confidential and never shared with anyone outside the company. Your inquiries and purchases are not disclosed to other companies or individuals. Vintage & Antique Items ~

Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .

They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.
