Haunted Victorian-Edwardian Picture - Extremely Active

Here's the story . . .

According to the story from Hilda's descendant, the photo was taken in London during the very end of the Victorian Era (or the Edwardian Era). Hilda and Noble were from a rich family. However, there was abuse in the family and, as a result, a horrible scandal. The children were sent to America to live with relatives in New York about one year after this picture was taken. Some say it was to protect them. Others say it was to silence them. Regardless, they were never the same, and they never saw their parents again.

They clung to each other for many years and wouldn't speak to anyone, not even in school. They would eat in their bedrooms, and Hilda always slept on the floor outside of Noble's bedroom door. Her only explanation was to protect him from the ghosts. No one quite knew what she meant.

When she turned 18, she was forced into an arranged marriage with a much older, successful businessman. She refused to eat until her brother was allowed to move in with her and her husband. She gave birth to one daughter who she loved and adored. Her husband had a mysterious accident when the child was just two years old. Hilda remained a widow, and Noble never married.

Hilda's daughter grew up, married, and had children. She would visit her mother frequently. The house was always dark and dreary. Hilda and Noble rarely went out. They had no friends, no social life whatsoever, and Noble didn't work. They stayed home day and night and played parlor games and cards. They also performed spirit communication and seances. Hilda's daughter suspected her mother and uncle were more deeply involved in the occult than mere games. For Hilda's generation, though, spiritualism was a normal part of life.

When Hilda became a very old lady, she told her granddaughter that her time was coming. She also admitted a power for good and a force for love and life that set her apart from others. (Her granddaughter thought she practiced positive magic.) She made a promise to her. Handing her the picture, she said that she and Noble will always stand behind that image. It was the time that bound them together for life and it will bind them together in death. She told her granddaughter that whoever holds (possesses) this picture will be visited by their spirits. And that seems to be the case.

A few weeks later, Hilda's daughter came to visit and found her mother and her uncle holding hands sitting upright on the couch deceased. They were in their 80s.

Everyone who has had their picture in their possession has seen their ghosts. They've seen Hilda and Noble as children, as young adults, and in their elderly years. This has been happening for almost 50 years! Several people have seen them. Sometimes they just stare. Other times, they're interacting with each other. And sometimes they speak with a message for the person who sees them. So this item is not for the faint of heart. It's for a person who believes in the paranormal and desires to interact with spirits. It may also be perfect for a true skeptic who wants to see for himself.

With that said, I've had the picture in my possession for a little over one month now, and I haven't seen anything yet. But I do feel their presence at times, and I hear their laughter and whispering. I think it's only a matter of time until I see something. I received the picture from a descendant of Hilda. It was passed down to her with other pictures. She was well aware of the history, and she's terrified of it since she saw their ghosts as children after having the picture in her home for 10 months. She also reported feeling their presence and hearing children whispering for a month or two leading up to the vision. So it may take some time to see them but you may feel or hear them before that.

We have another picture of Noble as a baby and Hilda in her 20s. Both of those pictures are haunted, too, and listed on the site.

Update February 2018 ~

Since creating the original listing for my website in February 2016, I've had several experiences with Hilda and Noble and so have my family members. Very positive, extremely personal, incredible experiences. This rarely happens to me, but I found it too difficult to give up their pictures, so I decided to pull them and keep them. Right at that time, a regular client of mine inquired. She said she was about to purchase them! She confessed that she made computer copies of them when I first listed them and had no experiences at all. But she had been drawn to them so she finally decided to buy them. I declined to sell the originals at that point, but I offered to make prints of them through a special method that was included in my great grandmother's personal folklore journal. I wasn't sure if it would work or not since it was a modern variation (copy-print) rather than her original method (copy-draw). However, the hand-created enchanted paper involved is the exact paper my great grandmother used in her recreations. And that's the key! So I printed copies of Hilda and Noble on special-colored, hand-created, spiritually consecrated paper and sealed it with lamination for my client, and it worked! She had the very same experiences with Hilda and Noble as others did. And since then, I sold the exact same prints to three other clients. One is currently having incredibly intense experiences from the single picture of Hilda. Another is having extremely intense experiences from all three prints. The other, so far, has had dreams and heard whispers, and he owns a print of Baby Noble. The length of time before activity has begun on the prints is the same as the originals. Some have had very quick experiences, within the first 24 hours, and others have taken 1 to 10 months.

Specifics ~

According to the previous owner, the original picture was taken in England around 1900. I can't guarantee the accuracy of that statement, but the picture type and clothing are conducive with that time period. Children's sailor suits and large bows were popular during the Victorian and Edwardian Eras.

This listing is for a print of the original picture (which I can't part with). The picture in this listing turned out blurry every time we snapped it. The original photo, however, is clear. The print is created on a high-quality professional printer on "spiritually consecrated", hand-created, deep misty blue artisan paper for a eye-catching enchanted effect. The finish is matte. If you prefer lamination, we can hand-cut and hand-sealed your print with high-grade lamination for a small, additional charge. (There's a listing for lamination in the "extras" category.) The picture size is approximately 6x4 or 5x7. The original picture is inside an oval shape frame with a border around it. The print will reflect this so it will include a rustic border image. You will see more of him in the print, as the picture above is cropped from the original. The watermark will be gone, of course. Again, not for the faint of heart.

Shipping ~

Important: We pack every single item appropriately using bubble or pillow wrap, cushioning paper, cardboard, padded envelopes, sturdy boxes, fragile stamps, and any other necessary method to fulfill our responsibility as the shipper. Therefore, we are not responsible for damage caused by the postal service after the item leaves our hands. Any shipping problems should be directed to “claims” at the US Postal Service. The insurance included with shipping is $50 to $100. If you’d like up to $5,000, there will be a $10 fee since the cost depends on the distance and whether we use first class or priority mail for your package. We have a listing for additional insurance. Please add it to your order if you’d like additional coverage.

We only ship to addresses within the USA (including Hawaii and Alaska). If you live outside the US and want to order from us, please secure a US shipping address through a mailing service.

We proudly recycle shipping boxes for environmental and economical benefits. About 30 percent of our orders are shipped through recycled shipping boxes. We only reuse boxes that are in proper condition, and we use all new shipping envelopes and packing material.

Vintage & Antique Items ~

Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .

They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.
