Here's The Story . . .


In the 1980s, a 7 year old boy named Jimmy was camping with his parents in a heavily wooded area in Eastern Canada. One night, Jimmy's mother's sleep was disturbed by a breeze. She discovered the tent was opened, and her child was missing. She woke her husband, and they looked everywhere but couldn't find Jimmy.

Over the next three days, there was a massive search. Finally, he was found sound asleep in a high cave 20 miles away. He wasn't dehydrated or hungry, and he had a story to tell.

He said he got up in the middle of the night, put on his shoes, jacket, and backpack, and went outside to pee. While he was out there, he saw a light that looked like a lantern in the tree line. He made his way over, but the light moved away. He was curious so he followed it. Before he knew it, he was in a clearing that had a makeshift altar with dolls, colored stones, and bones hanging from the trees.

He was able to see the source of the light. It was a man who turned noticed him. The man turned around and started coming towards Jimmy. Suddenly, a little girl poked her head out from behind a tree close to him and told him to quickly come with her. He did, and they ran away fast from the man who was trying to find the boy.

When they got to safety, the girl introduced herself as Mary and her doll as Susan. For three days, they roamed around the forest looking for Jimmy’s parents. Mary found food and fed Jimmy. She had a cup and gave him water from a stream. She kept him safe at night by bringing him to higher ground and cuddling with him to keep him warm. Mary was gone when the rescuers found Jimmy. When he told his story, nobody believed him. They thought he imagined Mary, but they couldn’t explain how he stayed safe, fed, and hydrated.

About a week later, Jimmy's mother was unpacking his backpack when she discovered the doll. She was confused because Jimmy didn't own any dolls. She brought it to him, and he said it was Susan, Mary's doll. This confused his mother even further so she started doing some research.

She found a 10 year old girl named Mary went missing from the very same area in the 1950s. She was never found. Strangely, the place Jimmy talked about with dolls, stones, and bones hanging from trees wasn't found in the search. There are two theories regarding this.

Jimmy stepped into a time slip and went back to the 1950s where Mary and the strange man and place were, then returned three days later. Or the strange man was dangerous, took down the dolls, stones, and bones before the search party arrived, and Mary was a ghost who protected Jimmy from the strange man and the elements until his rescue. Both stories are far-fetched, but the latter one is more plausible in my opinion.

This listing is for Susan, the doll that Jimmy brought back with him. Her special talents are blinking her eyes on her own, moving her arms, laughing out loud, and whispering in German. All her actions are subtle so you have to pay close attention to her (or film her) to see anything. Her history is fascinating, and she would make a great addition to any haunted doll collection.


Specifics ~

We have no idea who made her or exactly how old she is. I put the 1980s because that's when Jimmy had her. She could be older. She's in very good condition for her age. Her hair is messy, frizzy, and flat in the back. She's been leaning against a shelf for several years. Her hair would probably brush out well. She has pretty brown eyes. They're blinkers. The doll is about 12 inches (smaller doll). Not mushy but soft plastic with a soft body. She's barefooted, and there are some white marks on her right leg. She's wearing decorative/ethnic clothing.

Shipping ~

Important: We pack every single item appropriately using bubble or pillow wrap, cushioning paper, cardboard, padded envelopes, sturdy boxes, fragile stamps, and any other necessary method to fulfill our responsibility as the shipper. Therefore, we are not responsible for damage caused by the postal service after the item leaves our hands. Any shipping problems should be directed to “claims” at the US Postal Service. The insurance included with shipping is $50 to $100. If you’d like up to $5,000, there will be a $25 fee since the cost depends on the distance and whether we use first class or priority mail for your package. We have a listing for additional insurance. Please add it to your order if you’d like additional coverage.

We only ship to addresses within the USA (including Hawaii and Alaska). If you live outside the US and want to order from us, please secure a US shipping address through a mailing service.

We proudly recycle shipping boxes for environmental and economical benefits. About 50 percent of our orders are shipped through recycled shipping boxes. We only reuse boxes that are in proper condition, and we use all new shipping envelopes and packing material.

Privacy ~

Bloo Moon does not share information with other companies or individuals, and we do not have access to your bank information or card numbers. The information we gather, including your name, postal address, and email address, is strictly confidential and never shared with anyone outside the company. Your inquiries and purchases are not disclosed to other companies or individuals. Communication between the customer and Customer Care is usually to assist with purchases, provide shipping information, and answer general questions about items. We sometimes send coupons, special offers, promotional, or marketing postal mailers and emails to our clients and customers. If you prefer not to be included, please inform us via email, and we will honor that request.

Vintage & Antique Items ~

Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .

They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.

Energy cannot be destroyed but can be transferred or transformed. So maybe it’s not such a far-reaching, kooky, or ridiculous idea that intelligent energy could attach to a special object. However, attachment and expression are two different things. Just because a haunted object exists doesn’t necessarily mean it will produce a paranormal result. Perhaps the intelligence behind it needs to be in a comfortable and secure position before reacting. So please allow time for your object to bond to you before you see results of any spiritual manifestations. Bonding could happen immediately, or it could happen in six months or a year. In some cases, it doesn't happen at all for one person but a friend or a family member or even a pet could cause a reaction. If you're magnetically drawn to an item, it's meant for you. That doesn't mean it will open up to you immediately. But it does mean, it most likely will.
