Here’s the story . . .
A young woman named Flora was down on her luck. For several years, her grandmother and mother were trapped in indentured servitude. By that time, it was illegal in this country. But The grandmother desperately wanted to leave Europe for America, so she made a secret deal for passage.
When they were finally freed, they had no place to go so they stayed on as a barely paid maids in their master's house. Eventually, Flora's mother got married and moved out. Her husband abandoned her and two-year old Flora, so she returned to the same low-paying maid job she had before. When Flora became a teenager, she took her grandmother's place as a maid there as well.
The year was 1975, and Flora was 25 years old when she started having dreams of Felix. In these incredibly vivid dreams, Felix was a handsome man who lived in ancient Rome. He was a strong devotee to the goddess Venus, and he took her name. Venus is directly associated with the number five. This gave him the name Felix Venus which is translated to Lucky Five.
Some of the dreams were of her and Felix in the Roaring 20s. That was Flora's favorite time period. Flora and Felix were dressed up and hitting the town. She couldn't tell which town though. None of the dreams were modern day. Flora was always out of step, as though she didn't belong in her current time. It was no surprise she was dreaming about the past.
In the dreams, Felix sent Flora messages. He told Flora that she could have a wonderful life with blessings beyond her wildest dreams. But she had to follow his advice. She would be presented with a beautiful gift that involves the number five for the highest possible luck. Felix would manifest his soul and his blessings through the gift so she could have an outstanding life.
The master of the house (Flora's employer) had a son named Carl who was the same age as Flora. Carl was secretly in love with Flora, but his father wanted him to marry a society girl, so they became engaged. Before marrying the girl, he approached Flora and gave her a gift - this ring. He asked if she would run away with him. She did. They were found two weeks later. Flora was fired. Her mother was dismissed, too, and Carl was forced to quickly married the society girl.
Before Flora had a chance to cry, she collapsed in exhaustion and had a dream. Felix appeared with the ring. He said he was a fairly recent ancestor of Carl. He taught Roman history at a local college before his passing. His soul lingers on the outskirts, in the edge, unlike other spirits. He felt a connection to Flora from the moment she came into the home, and he was drawn to her. But he needed an object to physically connect. Something real to ground them, with a line to her heart, like the ring.
The ring has five prominent stones. That was on purpose. Felix led Carl to pick out this precise ring with five prominent stones. With the stones infused with Felix's soul and energy, all Flora had to do was wear it for something special to happen. She woke up from her dream and immediately put on the ring. Nothing happened. She became discouraged but continued to have dreams of Felix and the ring.
After wearing the ring for a while, wonderful things actually did start happening. She had psychic dreams that alerted to both positive events and danger if she wore it while asleep. This only happened when she wore the ring to bed.
She met a wonderful man who complimented her on her ring. It was out of character for him to speak to a stranger, but he was so intrigued by such a rare ring that he spoke. (They fell in love, were married for 40 years, and had two children and four grandchildren.)
Her ring is responsible for her husband's job. The woman who hired him was a total stranger who initially started talking to Flora in the grocery store about the ring. They became friends, and she happened to own a major company and hired her husband. It was a dream job that he would have never even known about if it wasn't for the ring.
There are several other stories associated with lottery winnings, unexpected gifts, a string of job promotions, and even finding the perfect pets as a direct result of wearing this ring.
Flora's husband passed on in 2020, and she gave all her jewelry to her daughter. Her daughter isn't sentimental, and she doesn't wear jewelry. That's the reason she's selling the ring now.
It's important to mention, Flora's daughter told us that her mother very generously allowed others to borrow the ring over the years, and the same lovely chain of event incidents happened for them. It seems to be a charmed piece.
The ring is about 50 years old. It has five stones running across the center. Two princess cut and three round cut. There are rows of tiny stones on the top and bottom. Flora's daughter told us the ring is sterling silver and diamonds. There's a China silver stamp on the ring to verify the silver claim. I questioned the diamond claim though since it's possible but rare that diamonds are mounted in silver. I asked an antique jewelry collector to take a look at it. He thinks it's white sapphire in sterling silver based on the hue. The size is about a 5.5 or 6. It could be worn on any finger or with a chain around the neck. It's light to medium weight. There are some light scratches on the sides of the ring. It's unnoticeable unless you're examining it closely under heavy light and/or with a magnifier. It really is a striking piece of jewelry. Rare design.
Fine jewelry care is recommended. We recommend jewelry removal before showing, washing dishes, swimming, vigorous exercise, manicures, hand and body cream use, and chemical use (such as hair dye, harsh soaps, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, etc.) to avoid exposing the ring to harsh or damaging chemicals or residue that could cause a filmy appearance. Clean with appropriate jewelry cleaner, a soft brush, or soft cloth. Store in a dry area, in a jewelry box, jewelry holder, or jewelry bag. We are not responsible for damage caused by not following proper care instructions.

Vintage & Antique Items ~
Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .
They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.
Energy cannot be destroyed but can be transferred or transformed. So maybe it’s not such a far-reaching, kooky, or ridiculous idea that intelligent energy could attach to a special object. However, attachment and expression are two different things. Just because a haunted object exists doesn’t necessarily mean it will produce a paranormal result. Perhaps the intelligence behind it needs to be in a comfortable and secure position before reacting. So please allow time for your object to bond to you before you see results of any spiritual manifestations. Bonding could happen immediately, or it could happen in six months or a year. In some cases, it doesn't happen at all for one person but a friend or a family member or even a pet could cause a reaction. If you're magnetically drawn to an item, it's meant for you. That doesn't mean it will open up to you immediately. But it does mean, it most likely will.
