Here's The Story . . .
This doll briefly belonged to a woman named, Nina. Nina's childhood dream was to become a professional ballerina, and she was on the verge of making her dream come true. She collected various ballerina items, and she was looking forward to purchasing the doll. The very day she bought the doll, she accepted a ride home from a friend of a friend. To be polite, she invited him into her home for dinner. After dinner, he made a romantic move on her in which she rejected. That lead to a violent fight, and he strangled her. While fighting, she put this doll between herself and her killer. The doll's skirt was torn from her, her ballet slipper got untied, and her hair became disheveled in the struggle. Nina clutched her new doll while taking her last breath.
The doll was kept in an evidence locker until it was stolen by a woman named Judy who worked at the police department. Judy had a problem with theft, and she had several stolen items in her home. She was the first person who noticed Nina's spirit inside this doll, and she was the first person to call the doll Nina.
Judy put Nina under her bed with the other stolen items. When she would come home from work every night, the doll would be in the middle of the bedroom floor. This happened for several weeks. Judy lived alone and had no pets so she couldn't understand how that was happening. She set up a camera. What she saw chilled her. At noon every day, the doll would crawl out from under the bed and roll face up on the floor. Judy immediately moved the doll to a closed closet in the downstairs hallway after seeing that. But the same thing happened. She'd come home from work to find the doll in the middle of her bedroom floor. Again, she set up cameras that recorded the doll opening the lever door knob, slowing crawling along the floor, up the stairs to the bedroom, where she rolled face up. That's when Judy gave her away to her sister, Geralyn. Geralyn lived across the country and knew nothing of the history or actions of this doll.
Geralyn was married and had a little girl. The little girl was afraid of the doll so Geralyn kept her in the garage. One day, when her husband pulled into the garage and got out of the car, Geralyn ran out to greet him. Suddenly, they heard a female voice say, "cheater." They thought it was coming from outside and didn't think much of it. The next day, Geralyn happened to pull into the garage at the same time as her husband, and they both got out of their cars at the same time. Again, they heard a female voice say, "cheater." This time, they looked around and found no one. This happened a third day in a row. The husband picked up his daughter from daycare. Geralyn came out to the garage to greet them, and they all heard the female voice say, "cheater." This time, though, it was louder, drawn out, and forceful. Then they heard more. "Tell your wife the truth, you filthy cheater." And Nina flew off the shelf and hit the husband right in the head. He was terrified and immediately confessed to an affair he'd been having. Geralyn threw him out. In the months that followed, Judy came to visit to help her sister through that hard time.
The nightmare began the first night Judy stayed in Geralyn's house, and they continued. Judy was paralyzed with fear because of these nightmares. They involved the items she stole over the years. Then, one night she woke up to Nina standing on her bed. "Give them all back," she said. She ran out of the room and into another. The next morning, Nina was found in the middle of the bedroom floor, face up. As Judy picked her up, she heard a whisper. "If you don't give them back, something horrible will happen to you." Judy planned to take Nina back with her to return her to the police department, but Geralyn refused to let her take her. Even after Judy told her the entire history of the doll, she wouldn't give her back. Geralyn hid Nina in her car trunk until Judy left. Judy returned everything she stole except Nina.
The reason Geralyn refused to give Nina back to Judy is because she benefited from having Nina around. The talent this doll possesses is that of judgment. Apparently, she can tell what someone is guilty of, and she literally calls them out on it. While with Geralyn, she called out 22 people. She was able to reveal deep dark secrets they held, things they were guilty of, and any malicious intentions they had towards Geralyn or her daughter. Nina also knows good-hearted, genuine, caring people, too, and she informs her person of that as well. She was able to identify 10 wonderful people who had the best intentions for Geralyn and her daughter.
About the people she called out for their evil doings, dark secrets, and damaging habits . . . If they changed their ways or confessed their sins against others, Nina would leave them alone. If they didn't, she would curse them in horrible ways. By haunting nightmares, sickness that they had never experienced, accidents, injuries, and financial loss. All with Nina at the center through visions or voice. Once they changed, it would stop. If they changed things immediately upon hearing her, it wouldn't happen at all.
We were able to purchase her from Geralyn's daughter during her mother's estate sale. She had tears in her eyes when she let Nina go. We told her we would hold her for a month in case she changed her mind. We had her for two months now, and we haven't heard from her, so we're listing her now.
Nina was put on a doll stand some years ago because she tends to roam. We have her in our pretty warehouse on a shelf. I had an appliance repairman come last week to service a refrigerator out there. The warehouse is a new building I have on my property. When the repairman was done, he knocked on the front door of my house for payment. He asked me if I was out there at any point because he kept hearing a woman's voice but couldn't find the source. I asked him what she said. He said she kept saying "stop driving drunk". He heard it five times. I immediately thought of Nina and just told him, that's always good advice. :)
This is a 1994 limited edition Ashton Drake My Little Ballerina doll. Only 3,500 were made. She's approximately 16 inches with light brunette hair, gray eyes, and she's on a doll stand. She's wearing a faux fur, sequin bodysuit with sequin slippers. Her tutu is missing. One of her ballet slippers is untied. Her hair is messy. All that was said to have happened as Nina struggled with her strangler. Because of this, no one "fixed" her so not to disturb the energy. Please look at the pictures closely. We don't have a box or any papers with her.

Vintage & Antique Items ~
Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .
They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.
Energy cannot be destroyed but can be transferred or transformed. So maybe it’s not such a far-reaching, kooky, or ridiculous idea that intelligent energy could attach to a special object. However, attachment and expression are two different things. Just because a haunted object exists doesn’t necessarily mean it will produce a paranormal result. Perhaps the intelligence behind it needs to be in a comfortable and secure position before reacting. So please allow time for your object to bond to you before you see results of any spiritual manifestations. Bonding could happen immediately, or it could happen in six months or a year. In some cases, it doesn't happen at all for one person but a friend or a family member or even a pet could cause a reaction. If you're magnetically drawn to an item, it's meant for you. That doesn't mean it will open up to you immediately. But it does mean, it most likely will.
