General Details About Our Oil Potions ~

I hand create our oil potions based on antique (old) formulas passed down from my great grandmother who learned the recipes from her great grandmother. They’re inspired by very old European Folk-Magic, with a modern twist. I’ve been making oil potions for 25 years, and we’ve always received excellent feedback.

I use several ingredients in the creation of our oils. Every potion is different. Some include special crushed herbs, dried imported flowers, and spirit glow dust, creating a beautiful subtle scent, submerged in a secret blend of the highest-quality essential oils and enchantingly packaged. I always use exactly the right scent potency and formula to entice the spirit.

The pictures are samples of our oil potions, and may not be the precise oil you’ll receive. Your oil potion will be handmade from scratch and the bottle may be adorned with beads, crystals, corked herbs, ribbon, string, cord, or plain with no outside adornments at all, depending upon the type and season.


Spirit-Keeping Oil Potion Purpose ~

The purpose of this oil potion is to conjure a positive or friendly spirit so you could form a bond or a friendship with that spirit. It's a spirit keeping tool. You may attach the spirit to yourself or an object, have a conversation with it, ask advice, or ask for favors.

This oil potion differs from the Spirit-Calling Potion in that, Spirit-Keeping Potion calls one spirit for a permanent stay. Using the oil until it's gone is believed to cement the bond.

A separate bottle should be used for each spirit you wish to keep. If you want a darker spiritual presence with you constantly, we offer a Dark Spirit Keeping Oil Potion as well.


Uses ~

The oil may be used in prayers and rituals. It could be used to anoint spiritual candles, letters, tools, boxes, dolls, bottles, dripped on handkerchiefs and other items where you'd like to trap or direct the spirit. It could be worn on the body so you could become a personal vessel or attractor. It also may be dropped in your bath water to create relaxation, cleansing, and open energy to invite the spirit in.


Specifics ~

Spirit-Keeping Oil Potion has a subtle but charming scent which is unisex. This unique scent is specifically designed to attract a positive or friendly spirit and keep it close to you.

We don't disclose the exact ingredients of any of our oil potions due to trade secrets. However, we will inform you that all of our potions contain two or more combinations of the following: Rapeseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Apricot Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, and Argon Oil. Some potions are scentless, some are natural raw, and some contain two to twelve essential oils which carry a vague scent to an intoxicating scent, depending. (Fragrance oil is not used, and all ingredients are 100 percent pure.) Most potions contain one to twelve types of all-natural, high-quality herbs, buds and/or flowers. Some potions contain one or more type of stone (such as amethyst, tiger eye, topaz, crystal quartz, etc.). Some potions contain one or more type of environmentally friendly dust (sparkling, glittering, spirit glow, graveyard, vampire, fairy, etc.). The scents are unisex unless otherwise stated. The oil is California Proposition 65 compliant.

The oil potion will come to you in a 1 ounce clear bottle with a dropper with a tamper-evident seal cap which is leak-proof and degradation resistant. The bottle will be in protective plastic and wrapped in a reusable pixie pouch. Your oil potion will be made-to-order, created just for you, with brand new ingredients. Everything is kept as fresh as possible.

Storage ~

Seal the oil tightly after use. Keep it in a cool, dry, dark place such as a closet or drawer. Some people store it in the refrigerator. Don't freeze. Don't store in the bathroom or close to sunlight or heat. While we cannot guarantee the expiration date, we've found that most oil potions expire 4 to 5 years after the creation date.


Instructions ~

Because spiritual oils are a very personal thing, everyone uses them a bit differently depending on their beliefs, practices, unique goals, and level of comfort. This listing is very specific about the usage and purpose of the oil potion. Because of this, we do not include instructions with your order. If you need guidance after your purchase, please reach out to us.

If you're going to work with oils, you might as well work with the best, safest oils possible. We research thoroughly and work tirelessly to insure the ingredients in our potions are of the highest quality and safe to use.

This oil is 100 percent pure and free of alcohol, parabens, phthalate, fillers, myrcene, estragole, safrole, methyl eugenol, d-pulegone, benzophenone, and methyl alcohol. Our oils meet or exceed the high standards of California Proposition 65 and are vegan, gluten free, cruelty-free, and made is the USA.


Warnings ~

This product may contain essential oils, herbs, seeds, flowers, or other botanicals, that can be harmful or deadly to pets if ingested. Certain essential oils can make a pet very ill if the oil is inhaled. Do not allow ANY essential oils (from us or anywhere else) to come in contact with your pets. Keep away from small children. Certain herbs are unsafe for pregnant women to handle. Since this product may contain herbs, if you are pregnant or suspect pregnancy, talk to your doctor before touching or using essential oils or herbs for your intended purpose. (You may contact us and ask if a certain herb is in a certain oil potion.) This product is not to be ingested and is for external use only. This product is not to be used in diffusers. Please use with care on your body and items as this is oil, and it can stain clothing and other items if spilled or misused. This product is of the highest quality with the best ingredients. However, everyone's body chemistry is different and can react differently to personal care products - from scent odor to possible allergic reactions. It's advisable to perform a patch test before use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Shipping ~

Important: We pack every single item appropriately using bubble or pillow wrap, cushioning paper, cardboard, padded envelopes, sturdy boxes, fragile stamps, and any other necessary method to fulfill our responsibility as the shipper. Therefore, we are not responsible for damage caused by the postal service after the item leaves our hands. Any shipping problems should be directed to “claims” at the US Postal Service. The insurance included with shipping is $50 to $100. If you’d like up to $5,000, there will be a $10 fee since the cost depends on the distance and whether we use first class or priority mail for your package. We have a listing for additional insurance. Please add it to your order if you’d like additional coverage.

We only ship to addresses within the USA (including Hawaii and Alaska). If you live outside the US and want to order from us, please secure a US shipping address through a mailing service.

We proudly recycle shipping boxes for environmental and economical benefits. About 30 percent of our orders are shipped through recycled shipping boxes. We only reuse boxes that are in proper condition, and we use all new shipping envelopes and packing material.

Privacy ~

Bloo Moon does not share information with other companies or individuals, and we do not have access to your bank information or card numbers. The information we gather, including your name, postal address, and email address, is strictly confidential and never shared with anyone outside the company. Your inquiries and purchases are not disclosed to other companies or individuals. Communication between the customer and Customer Care is usually to assist with purchases, provide shipping information, and answer general questions about items. We sometimes send coupons, special offers, promotional, or marketing postal mailers and emails to our clients and customers. If you prefer not to be included, please inform us via email, and we will honor that request.

Vintage & Antique Items ~

Not all of our items have “haunting histories” so please read each listing very carefully. For the items that do have haunting histories . . .

They will arrive to you as we receive or find them. We do not “spiritually cleanse”, physically restore, or even dust off these items. They're all sold "as is". We don't want to disturb their energy state as any part of the object is an extension of that energy. If you, the new owner, decide to clean or restore the item, that's your choice, of course, but many do not. By sending the object to you the way we received it, you can make the decision rather than us making it for you.

Energy cannot be destroyed but can be transferred or transformed. So maybe it’s not such a far-reaching, kooky, or ridiculous idea that intelligent energy could attach to a special object. However, attachment and expression are two different things. Just because a haunted object exists doesn’t necessarily mean it will produce a paranormal result. Perhaps the intelligence behind it needs to be in a comfortable and secure position before reacting. So please allow time for your object to bond to you before you see results of any spiritual manifestations. Bonding could happen immediately, or it could happen in six months or a year. In some cases, it doesn't happen at all for one person but a friend or a family member or even a pet could cause a reaction. If you're magnetically drawn to an item, it's meant for you. That doesn't mean it will open up to you immediately. But it does mean, it most likely will.
